Fulvio Colangelo was born in Aosta, Italy, in 1946. He finished his studies at the ‘Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti’ of Turin with a work on this ancient building, closing its door and windows for one hour with transparent nylon ties.
He founded three advertising agencies, one Video Animation studio, an Art Magazine.. he’s teaching computer graphic in Turin where is his art atelier. He had more than 80 among solo exhibitions, collectives, art events in Italy, Austria, Egypt, England, Finland, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and USA.
In 2004/05 for one year he organized a group of artists to be a strong support to a project against the mental diseases and the burn-out in the companies.
In 2006 he was invited to ‘give a soul’ to the new department for the sleeping apnea of the Ruhrland Klinik in Essen. The result has been 13 pictures outside and inside any rooms with different dreams done with the same growing way of the dreams.
People, Eros, Links between people and things are his main fields of investigation.
