- CAMPO dos SONHOS
CAMPO dos SONHOS is an installation I did at the MAC of Sao Paulo with a class of university students of Katia Canton. In a large space each student left a piece of his own dream so making a prototype of 'The Great Collective Dream'

CAMPO DE SONHOS parte da un’installazione molto semplice: Un foglio di carta da pacchi srotolato in mezzo a una grande stanza vuota. La prima sensazione che viene immediatamente è di trovarsi di fronte ad un sentiero, una strada.
Ognuno la trasformerà in un cammino, reale e mitico e al tempo stesso, nella grande ma limitata stanza della nostra vita.
La seconda impressione è di ‘ORROR VACUI, il senso di paura che proviamo di fronte al foglio bianco.
La STRADA ci indica un cammino, ma per andare dove, a destra, a sinistra, in fondo, nell’angolo più nascosto o magari sopra la strada stessa? E poi per andare vicino a chi, alla bella e simpatica, alla persona rassicurante, a quella più originale, a quella da proteggere?
Anche il materiale ha una forte valenza simbolica.
La CARTA è il materiale su cui abbiamo posato i nostri primi segni comunicativi, di carta sono i libri, percorrerla è come andare avanti a scrivere la storia, la nostra storia personale.
La CARTA DA PACCHI, poi, è un supporto particolarmente umile, ci porta indietro nel tempo, a quando l’intervento personale e creativo non era soppiantato dalle belle confezioni e buste pubblicitarie.
E’ stato emozionante ritrovare ancora una volta quella meravigliosa e angosciante sensazione di VUOTO che proviamo entrando per la prima volta nelle stanze vuote della nuova casa o del nuovo studio.
L’ EVENTO.
Grazie alla collaborazione con Katia Canton, curatrice del Museo d’arte contemporanea di Sao Paulo e docente universitaria, una ventina dei suoi studenti hanno realizzato il progetto.
L’occhio di una VIDEOCAMERA ha registrato i sogni di ciascun partecipante. Prima il nome scritto sulla stessa carta marrone, poi il volto accompagnato mentre si dirige al posto scelto e racconta il proprio sogno recente, poi il particolare a terra del materiale realizzato per visualizzare il sogno stesso.
La videocamera entra dunque in gioco. Sarà il video a storicizzare il sogno, a fermare l’ombra fuggente del sogno per trasformarla nella luce dello schermo. La traccia storica non è più il segno dipinto o stampato sulla carta con i colori della quadricromia ma quella delle luci RGB proiettate su uno schermo o lanciate nella rete digitale a sgretolare le distanze.
Gli studenti avevano età e provenienze culturali molto diverse ma tutti hanno partecipato con grande intensità e concentrazione concludendo con un dibattito. In questo dibattito si è chiarito un nuovo senso dell’evento.
Il sogno ha una funzione introduttiva, propedeutica ad un passaggio, il PASSAGGIO dalla consapevolezza della veglia alla perdita di coscienza nel sonno profondo. Questo passaggio che avviene ogni giorno non è senza preoccupazione e angoscia da parte dell’io cosciente. Dunque il Sogno ha una funzione PER il passaggio, il passaggio da uno stato attivo, attuativo, esteriore a uno biologico, di riparazione e ricarica energetica a livello molecolare. E notate che questo meccanismo avviene in entrambe le direzioni, sia nel passare dalla veglia al Sonno, sia nel tornare dalle profondità del sonno alla consapevolezza della veglia.
Viene chiaramente in mente un altro grande duplice passaggio, quello alla vita e quello alla morte.
E’ stato chiesto ai partecipanti di notare che la dichiarazione del sogno non è che la prima parte della strada. Il sogno ricordato, segnato, registrato deve essere per prima cosa ‘scoperto, RIVELATO a noi stessi’ Siamo noi che abbiamo messo in scena l’ultima nostra inquietudine legandola e camuffandola con qualcosa che ce la rendesse meno riconoscibile agli occhi della Veglia.
E’ sufficiente porci la domanda in modo chiaro: Cosa volevo dire con questo sogno? Chi si potrebbe più plausibilmente nascondere dietro questo sogno? La risposta arriva di sicuro perché la nostra mente è strutturata per rispondere in automatico e in questo caso conosce di sicuro la risposta perché è essa stessa che ha messo assieme la storia.
A questo punto inizia la seconda parte dello stage.
Se prima ci siamo tuffati dall realtà al sogno, adesso…
IL SOGNO DIVENTA REALTA’
E’ chiaro che stiamo giocando su due diverse accezioni della parola, una indica il sogno biologico, l’altra il sogno come progetto di vita, in genere miglioramento della qualità del vivere quotidiano, cosciente, attivo, sociale.
Passare dal Sogno al Progetto di vita.
Attraverso la dichiarazione collettiva dei sogni e l’invito a trasformare il sogno in progetto realizziamo un nuovo tipo di passaggio: dal micro gruppo,la classe, al macro gruppo, la società.
Questa è una classe terminale e non sarà possibile riportare in aula i risultati di progetti che appartengono d’ora in avanti esclusivamente all’area personale, ma ciò che appare un handicap rivela una funzione di sviluppo a raggiera dove nessuno apparentemente saprà più nulla dei successi altrui ma in qualche modo ne rimane connesso come le punte delle radici non si toccano ma procedendo all’indietro sono perfettamente unite e realizzano la salute della pianta.
Vengono in mente allora le storie degli aborigeni australiani, un certo tipo di telepatia, di preveggenza, storie dove sogno e realtà finalmente si abbracciano.

A primeira sensação é que está localizado logo na frente de um caminho, uma estrada. Everyone's enviados em uma viagem, real e mítico, e ao mesmo tempo, o grande, mas pouco espaço em nossas vidas.CAMPO DE Sonhos em parte, de uma forma muito simples: uma folha de papel extraída das parcelas no meio de uma grande sala vazia.
A segunda impressão é de "Horror VACUI, o sentimento de medo que sentimos em frente da folha. A estrada nos mostra um caminho, mas para onde ir, direita, esquerda, no fundo, no mais escondido ou mesmo acima a estrada em si? E depois de ir ao próximo, a bela, simpática, para tranquilizar as pessoas, a mais original, a ser protegido?
O material tem um forte valor simbólico. O MAP é o material sobre o qual estamos estabelecidos nossos primeiros sinais de comunicação, de papel são os livros, e como você vai passar a escrever a história, a nossa história pessoal. O papel de embrulho, então, é um humilde especialmente, nos traz de volta no tempo, e quando a criatividade e intervenção pessoal não foi suplantado pela bela embalagem e publicidade envelopes.
Isso foi excitante para encontrar mais uma vez que a maravilhosa e dolorosa sensação de vazio que sentimos entram pela primeira vez nos quartos desocupados ou a nova casa do novo estudo.
L 'EVENTO. Graças à colaboração com Katia Canton, curador do Museu de Arte Contemporânea de São Paulo e professor universitário, uma dúzia de seus alunos desenvolveram o projeto. O olho de uma câmera de vídeo gravou os sonhos de cada participante. Antes do nome escrito no mesmo papel pardo e, em seguida, o rosto e cabeça, juntamente com o local escolhido e narra o sonho recentemente, então o terreno de material especial para ver o mesmo sonho.
A câmera entra em jogo, então. O vídeo será um sonho histórico, para parar a sombra fugidia de um sonho de o transformar a luz do ecrã. A histórica pista já não é um sinal pintado ou impresso em papel com as cores dos quatro, mas que o RGB de luzes projetadas em uma tela ou executar na rede digital corroer distâncias.
Os alunos tinham idades e origens culturais muito diferentes, mas todos eles participaram com grande intensidade e concentração com uma celebração discussão. O sonho vira realidade "É claro que estamos jogando com dois diferentes significados da palavra, um sonho é o biológico, o outro o sonho como projeto de vida, geralmente a melhoria da qualidade de vida diária, consciente, activa, social. Vá Projeto Sonho de vida. Através da declaração de recolha e envio sonhos de transformar o sonho em projeto a construção de um novo tipo de transição: a partir de micro-grupo, classe, a macro grupo, a sociedade. Esta é uma classe e não terminal você pode trazer os resultados de aula projetos que pertencem a partir de agora, só para o pessoal, mas aquilo que parece ser uma desvantagem revela uma função de desenvolvimento irradiando onde aparentemente ninguém sabe de nada dos sucessos dos outros, mas de alguma maneira ela permanece conectado como as pontas das raízes, mas não se tocam os passos para trás são totalmente unida e fazer a saúde da planta.
