- TORINO FILM FESTIVAL 2010
Sono andato questa sera a vedere la premiazione del 28 TORINO FILM FESTIVAL. Dopo, proiettavano come gran finale il film 'HEREAFTER' di Clint Eastwood. Non potevo crederci! Mi sono imbucato in una poltrona e, ringraziando la sorveglianza morbida, ho potuto vederlo.
Non perdetevelo quando uscirà nei cinema. E' un film splendido, profondo e gentile, girato con grande tecnica sensibilità e passione. In qualche modo il tema é la morte ma il messaggio è un inno alla vita e all'amore. E amore Clint Eastwood sembra ne abbia tanto anche per la nostra città, per il vino, la cucina e l'Italia tutta che il regista cita in abbondanza. Questo suo omaggio in un film così bello ha un valore senza prezzo... Voglio ringraziarlo e abbracciarlo come fosse un fratello. Ma voglio ringraziare anche gli organizzatori del Festival e i politici amministratori della mia città che da anni continuano a favorire in ogni modo le produzioni cinematografiche sul nostro territorio. Ha funzionato! L'ho visto nelle facce dei tantissimi giovani e meno giovani che hanno riempito le sale cinematografiche, che hanno bivaccato a panini e cioccolata fra una proiezione e l'altra.
Non aspettavamo un cambiamento? Prepariamoci e rimbocchiamoci le maniche, domani si gira!
I went this evening to watch the awarding of the 28 Torino Film Festival. Then they announced the projection of 'Hereafter' by Clint Eastwood. I could not believe it! I sank into a chair and, thanks to the the monitoring soft, I could see it.
Do not miss it when it will open in cinemas. It 's a beautiful film, deep and gentle, shot with great technique sensitivity and passion. Somehow the topic is death but the message is a hymn to life and love. And love Clint Eastwood seems he has so much for our city, wine, cooking and all of Italy, he says in abundance. This homage in such a great film is worth any price without ... I want to thank and hug him like a brother. But I want to thank the organizers of the Festival as well as my city administrators and politicians who promoted the film productions in our area for years. It worked! I saw the faces of so many young and less young people who filled the movie theaters, which have bivouacked sandwiches and chocolate between a projection and the other.
Do not expect a change? Let's get ready and roll up our sleeves, tomorrow... 'Si gira!'
